A personal note from me, SampleNerd!
Hello, SampleNerd.com began out of a desire to have something that was completely different, and that I hoped would grow over time.
But, it’s been so much more than that. I have learnt so much. People, things, places I didn’t know about before. And this after 30 years involvement – both professionally and personally in music and music production.
This site was never intended for “experts” however. I’m an enthusiast. And it is as an enthusiast that I write. There are folk out there who know far more about this stuff than I do…
But, I like to think that the articles here published are interesting, reliable, sometimes have a unique take on a subject and also have a personal style, that reflects that enthusiast in me.
I also didn’t think (at all) when I began that my articles would go on to be read in 51 countries – all over the world. And that this little website would receive over 1300 visitors and be viewed over 5000 times – without social media.
Don’t get me wrong, I’ve got nothing against ‘social media’ but to be honest, I find it quite stressful! So I have all but decided to rule it out. And anyway, I have enough to do dealing with SEO and search engine algorithms as it is.
Anyhow, I’ll finish off now. Thank you, dear reader for allowing me to share my passion with you. I welcome any and all feedback or ideas you may have, just use the contact form or email if you prefer.
